Conversation Clubs are designed for students who have studied Khmer and are looking for an opportunity to practice conversation with others who are at a similar speaking level. Up to 8 students gather one time per week for 90 minutes to discuss a specific topic. The teacher guides the conversation and teaches new vocabulary and grammatical structures as the conversation directs. The sessions are conducted as much as possible in Khmer. Each session is a stand-alone session, which is great for students whose schedules may not allow them to attend every week. This is a casual, fun way to ask questions about language and culture, practice telling stories, and converse with others in a non-threatening environment.
